1)      I chose this build for the tank warrior because of the usage and point of a tank.  A tank needs to be able to take damage and stand your ground.  As a tank you need to be able to pull properly and hold aggro away from others (priests, mages, etc.) in instances or groups.  The Taunt or mocking blow is a quick way to jump threat quickly.

2)      To pull as a tank I suggest getting the crossbow ability in Stormwind or the Gun ability in Ironforge.  Personally I use the gun, but either is fine.

3)      For your profession, I can suggest nothing better than Herbalism and Alchemy.  This is your savior when the bloodthirsty beasts are looking at the cloth-wearing priest keeping you alive like a piece of sushi.  The less you need to depend on the spells to heal or protect you the better.  So use the great buffs that potions can give you.  (Note:  Keep plenty of Health potions, as a tank you will need them.)

4)      For secondary, build up cooking and first aid.  Again as a tank you will need them.

5)      For tanks I suggest staying away from dual-wield and two-hand weapons.  As a tank your shield is your best friend.

6)      I would also suggest adding the voice emote /healme ("heal me")to macro.  This will let your companion paladin or priest know to heal you if you cannot use the potions at the time.
