1)       In this talent build I go straight for Dual Wield because it is without a doubt the strongest skill the Shaman can have for levelling. Combined with Thundering Strikes and Flurry, in combat you crit a lot and you hit quickly. At the end, I go for Nature's Swiftness, just because of the extra surival it and the rest of the talents in Restoration provide.

2)       For proffessions, I would suggest Mining and Jewelcrafting because of the great rings and necklaces you can make. I have tried other proffessions such as Leatherworking or Blacksmithing but there is not much you can make that's better than the items you receive from questing. Alternatively you could get Mining and Skinning, this is what I did before TBC arrived. Combining this two you start to get insane amounts of money, which can either buy new items from the AH or go towards that nice flying mount.

3)       For fights, in the lower levels (before 41), I usually cast Lightning Shield before each fight, but do not cast any Bolts or Shocks. By doing this I get nice dps with my weapon and shield, and have very little downtime. Once I have Mana Totem, I use it every fight, by doing so I don't have any downtime at all. Once I have Stormstrike I stop casting Lightning Shield and only use Stormstrike once at the beginning of every fight.

4)       I use Lesser Heal in combat only if desperately needed, as the mana cost for the healing it gives is terrible. After every fight I cast Healing Wave, even if I only need to use a low rank.Once I get it, Nature's Swiftness followed by a Healing Wave is great against elites or if you aggro many mobs.

5)       If it is clear that I cannot win a fight, no matter how much I heal, then Earthbind Totem, Nature's Swiftness followed by Ghost Wolf is a lifesaver, literally.

6)       When I have a one hand and shield at early levels I use Rockbiter weapon. Then once I get a Two-Hand, windfury is awesome. When Dual-Wielding, Windfury on the main hand and rockbiter on the off hand is the most successful.
