Official Rules:



1. The first drawing of the new lottery will be held Wednesday 13 February, 2008. 8:00 PM server time (EST).
2. DDrawings will be held weekly from that day on, Wednesday evenings at 8:00 PM server time.
3. Deadline for entry will be 1 hour prior to the drawing to allow for processing time. Entries received later then 7:00 PM will be applied to the next lottery drawing.
4. To enter you must buy a ticket from Dclotto, our lottery character. You may buy directly from Dclotto in Stormwind or send through the game mail.
5. Members of the guild can buy tickets for the next drawing at any time or day prior to this deadline.
6. Cost of each ticket is 50 silver for large jackpot and 5 silver for the bag jackpot, mail received must contain cash for the amount of tickets needed and numbers they want to play.
7. Select one three digit number per entry. Use leading zeros for numbers between 0 and 99. Example 0 = 000, 94 = 094.
8. If cash is sent with no numbers, a random number will be generated on your ticket.
9. After receiving you entry, a ticket will be issued to you character using game mail. Each ticket can contain up to ten picks. Retain your lottery ticket until the winners, if any, are determined.
10. It may take some time to review lottery entries, winner will be announced after reviewing all tickets.
11. The lottery will be drawn using the roll command (/roll 1000) to generate a number between 000 and 999. The drawing shall be witnessed by guild members on-line by group invite.
12. Winning numbers will be posted in the Guild Bank forum.
13. If there are multiple jackpot winners, the jackpot will be split between winning ticket holders.
14. If no one has a ticket that matches the lottery roll, there is no winner for that week. However 75% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be divided evenly between all tickets that matched 2 of the numbers.
15. Jackpot for the lottery will be 100 gold. All proceeds not used for tickets with 2 numbers will be applied to fund future jackpots and other guild activities.
16. A second lottery drawing, to be called the bag jackpot lottery will be held right after the large jackpot drawing. Tickets will cost 5 silver and a bag no smaller than 12 slots will be the prize. Ticket buyer will need to specify which lottery they are buying for. If there is no winner on the bag jackpot drawing, another number will be drawn until a winner is determined.
17. Rules for bag lottery will be otherwise the same as the guild lottery.
18. Odds of winning are 1 in 1000 per pick. Buying 10 picks for 5 gold will increase you chance of winning to 1 in 100.
19. Dcbank, guildmaster, Dclotto and other alts are not eligible to play lottery.
20. If game server is down on Wednesday night, the drawing will be rescheduled for the following day, all tickets will remain valid.
21. If game server is down on Friday night, the drawing will be rescheduled for the following day, all tickets will remain valid.
